Tanaman Hias daun Alokasia

Lensa Flora - Mengenal Tanaman hias Alokasia, tanaman hias daun alokasia yang selalu disebut secara umum oleh masyarakat sebagai tanaman keladi ataupun talas
,adalah  tanaman khas wilayah tropis yang  keberadaannya sangat populer dikarenakan bentuk,corak dan warna daunnya yang beragam.

Alocasia dan Keladi meski berasal dari family yang sama araceae ( tanaman berumbi ), akan tetapi oleh berbagai hal dapat disebut sebagai 2 jenis tanaman yang berbeda 1 sama lainnya.

kesamaan alokasia dan Keladi yang umum diketahui adalah sama sama memiliki masa tidur atau biasa di sebut dengan dorman.

Alocasia adalah genus dari rhizomatous atau tuberous yang memiliki ciri berdaun lebar dan keras dari keluarga Araceae

Tanaman alokasia umumnya selalu dapat tumbuh jauh lebih besar  dibanding kerabatnya keladi.

Dari segi warna, umumnya daun Alocasia berwarna hijau.dibanding jenis keladi yang lebih berwarna-warni.
akan tetapi beberapa jenis dari Alocasia dapat ditemui dengan permukaan bawah daun berwarna merah maroon.

Perbedaan yang mencolok lainnya antara keladi dan alokasia dapat dilihat dari umbi dan anakan. Anakan keladi selalu muncul pada permukaan  umbi utama, sedangkan anakan pada alokasia muncul berupa umbi kecilyang terpisah dengan umbi utama, tepatnya di bagian ujung tanaman yang menyerupai akar seperti bawang.
